First Presbyterian Church of Watertown will have their 2019 Christmas Pageant/Cantata on December 22, during Worship Service. Come and seek the Light of Christ anew with narrators, actors and the choir.

held  at 7:30 pm at Watertown FPC. Lessons, Carols, with Choir, Organ, Brass and Handbells.

Northern Choral Society Concert on Saturday Dec. 7th at 7 p.m. or Sunday, Dec. 8th, at 3 p.m. At Asbury United Methodist Church, 327 Franklin Street, Watertown. Tickets are available from choir members ,or at Kinney Drugs on Washington Street and or at the door. Bus service for the parking lots at city hall and FPC Church starting one hour before each concert. Join us for this celebration of the true reason for the season!

First Presbyterian Church Rouses Point, NY will be hosting on Sunday December 8 from 3:30- 5 pm the upcoming Neil Wright Christmas Show. Free will offering event.  Open to all. This will be a wonderful afternoon.

Update Thank you to all that attended and/or donated to the Angel Food dinner put on by Kim, Sally, and Carl Smith. Thanks to all that donated time to help put this on. Together $10,800 has been made with donations still coming in.  With this the area children and families in need will be taken care of this Christmas Season.  We can’t thank you enough.

Theresa Presbyterian Church is presenting “ A Chil’s A King” Christmas Cantata during worship on 12/15 at 9:30 am.  It will also be shared a second time at Summit Village in Watertown on Dec. 21 at 10:00 am. Christmas Eve service will be at 7:00 pm.

Hammond Presbyterian Church will be doing Christmas Carolers on Dec. 15 at 2:00 pm. Following caroling around the village, there will be refreshments ready back at the church. Brick Chapel Candlelight Service will be on Friday Dec. 20, at 7 pm. Bring a wrapped gift if your child would like a visit with Santa Claus.

Canton FPC is having a Potluck in Fellowship Hall immediately after worship service on Sunday Dec. 16, this is the day the children present their Christmas Pageant during the worship service.  Please bring a dish to pass. Eating dishes will be provided.

Urban Mission in Watertown needs Winter apparel, please only new or nearly new coats, hats, gloves, snow pants, boots, scarves, mittens.  Please leave them at Watertown Stone PC in Fellowship Hall. Help someone stay warm and they will be taken to Urban Mission.

of God’s gift of creation and the animals that are

precious to us, the First Presbyterian Church,

located at 57 Church Street, Saranac Lake, NY is

holding an Advent Animal Blessing service on

Sunday December 8 at 3:00 pm in the Great Hall.

All animals and animal lovers are welcome.

Representatives from the Adirondack Loon

 Good News from Malawi, Africa, Tyler Holm has been released from hospital as an outpatient at a hotel 200 yards from hospital. He still needs follow-up  at hospital with physical therapy , and healing of ribs and lung damage.  Please keep praying for his healing strength and persevering faith for all three of them. It is summer weather in Malawi  now. They are sharing joy with a community which includes our support and prayers for the family and many hands around the world.

Sackets Harbor UPC hosting Annual Choir &  Community Concert on Sat. Dec 14, 3:00 pm. A reception follows in Fellowship Hall. Everyone invited to come and enjoy the Christmas Spirit.

MELT Central Library to be located in Area 4, a new development in Mzuzu, the building is designed to withstand Malawi’s serious rains and winds.  The library includes a large library space, small kitchen, bathrooms, and MELT Administrative Office.

This $95,000 project covers land acquisition, all filings charges, construction and finishing of the building inside and out including fixtures for the library, security wall, and security lighting system. Also included are taxes, insurances and building supervision for the first five years. Starting out with funds in place to handle expenses for the first five years allows MELT to maintain focus on publishing new materials and professional development. They have raised $36,000 of our goal of $95,000 goal! We have a $1,000 giving level that includes the donors name being included on the Giving Plaque to located on the reception area wall of the library. M.E.L.T. is in need of a central Library Building to house thousands of books and literacy materials that serve 40 classrooms in 20 schools in the Northern Region of Malawi…nearly 4000 students each year.

The solution is to build a building to take care of this issue.

      Presbyterian Women in  Ogdensburg FPC

Having a Snowflake Sale Dec.7, 2019 from 9-1 .There will be a wide variety of fudge, candy, and baked goods for sale.  We will have a craft table with handmade items as well as knit goods. Gently used Christmas decorations available. Raffle tickets for sale for beautiful handmade Quilt and a variety of gift baskets. Drawing will be on Sunday Dec. 8, following morning worship.
