Plattsburgh Interfaith Food Shelf
The Interfaith Food Shelf at the United Methodist Church, located at 127 Beekman Street,is in need of our support. They need volunteers to do a variety of jobs as well as to contribute money and items of
food Usage at the Food Shelf has been increasing yearly. The food shelf provides immediate relief in the form of three days worth of food to people in need up to six times a year as needed. It also provides nutritional awareness to improve food planning. Additionally, the food shelf takes action to raise community awareness of this problem, and advocates for changes in government policy.
The Interfaith Food shelf hours are 9am to 12 noon Monday through Friday, except for holidays. Interested volunteers should contact the church office.
Volunteers , food items, monetary donations are always needed to keep this
vital ministry available to our neighbors in need in this city and county.
