6th North Country Church Choir Workshop

As a continuing outreach of this church, we are offering a workshop for directors and singers from all around the North Country. We will be singing through a specially selected packet of anthems. Our clinician will be Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, past President of the Eastern Division of the American Choral Directors Association, who now resides in Canton with her husband, Rev. David Van Epps. In addition to browsing through new publications, rehearsal and vocal techniques will be demonstrated to help us “jump start” our choirs. A $10 fee will offset the cost of the music and lunch. This is a unique opportunity to meet some of our neighboring church musicians, to help smaller churches with modest resources, and to experience the joy of singing with a larger choir. You do not need to be a member of the Westminster Choir to attend. Registration forms will be available in the church office in mid August. (scholarships are available for students who would like to attend)
